meet Starla
I am a native San Franciscan, born and raised. I grew up in the storied neighborhood of the Haight Ashbury. Where the hippies were giving out flowers and acid on one side of the street and the Black panthers was teaching people about a revolution on the other side of the street. The Grateful Dead, Jefferson Airplane and Janis Joplin hug out around the corner from our house on a street called Ashbury. Homosexuality and Aids were taking a center stage in the world. San Francisco taught me the true meaning of Tolerance and Love thy Neighbor. This is the common denominator of my true essence.
When you get to know me you will know I have a loving true hippie spirit. I began acting and making people laugh over 40 years ago. However, as life happens I became homeless and pregnant in the city i love.
From a homeless shelter in San Francisco I went to school and stopped acting for a period of time. I worked cooperate for over 20 years and took home all the Mommy awards. That pregnancy has now graduated from college and is on her way to Med School. I’m back now too!!! The world has changed, but I have not. You are never too old to follow one’s light in life.
Making people laugh is a honor and a gift. I am humbled to be part of both Auntie
